Kristen James

Kristen joined the firm in November of 2023. She is a civil litigator with diverse and extensive experience in many areas of the law. Kristen will primarily handle cases involving insurance defense and estate planning, but her legal experience also includes breach of contract, personal injury, and all aspects of family litigation.

Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Nicholls State University in Thibodeaux, Louisiana and received a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. She received her legal education at the University of North Texas-Dallas College of Law as a member of the university’s inaugural class. She is licensed to practice law in both the State of Texas and the State of Oklahoma.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Kristen spent her career as an advocate for children working as a Caseworker for Dallas Child Protective Services, and as a Caseworker Supervisor for C.A.S.A of Denton County. Kristen is very passionate and has an unwavering dedication to the well-being of her clients and the community, which makes her a standout and zealous advocate in her legal practice.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and seven children.
